LES FARRINGTON’S BEST 100 – Art Exhibition

On March 1, JCI St. Paul kicked off one of our favorite annual events, the Les Farrington Best 100 Juried Art Show. Each year since 1957, we have invited area high school students (grades 9-12) to submit their original artwork for competition. It is one of the only non-school sponsored art events, allowing students to compete against their peers and gain exposure and recognition. This year over 850 pieces were entered for consideration; the best 100 were selected for the exhibit by three jurors from the local art community.

JCI St. Paul is at the forefront of bringing hope and thanks back into the country, and we would like to reflect for a moment on all the good that we have seen and helped others to achieve.

Hurricane Harvey Relief Efforts – A St. Paul Jaycee in Houston

This September, one of our Jaycees, Ben Seitz, was able to travel to Houston to help support the relief efforts for Hurricane Harvey. We are so proud to be able to share his experience in Houston with our St. Paul community. Here’s what he had to say:

The Importance of Donating to JCI St. Paul

The Jaycees are a national organization dedicated to community engagement, professional development, and philanthropy and fundraising. Formed in the 1920's, the Jaycees have helped communities during the worst of times and the best of times. The Saint Paul Jaycees Charitable Foundation is carrying on that legacy throughout the Saint Paul community. The question becomes, why do I support JCI Saint Paul and how?
