Meet our 2018 Board of Directors

Beth Salzl

Trustee

Beth Salzl is a Retired Senior Quality Business Analyst Benefit Configuration at United Health Care Company. She has the lead and implemented many big projects.  Her background in medical insurance and computer systems has been highly regarded.

Beth has excelled as well in her volunteer efforts.  She is the on the board of involved with many non-profits. Currently, she is on the Board of Seven non-profits and members of others.  She has helped organizations with their charitable gaming and in obtaining their 317A (MN)and 501C3 status’s(Federal).

She was a Gambling Manager and has assisted several organizations to obtain and maintain them charitable gaming status.

She is also members of the Friends of Ramsey County Library, Friends of the Roseville Parks, Roseville Historical Society and MN BBQ Society and many more organizations.

Lisa Hiebert

Trustee
Lisa Hiebert has always focused on people, programs, and partnerships in her professional and volunteer
career. She has more than 15 years of senior management in large matrixed nonprofits and local
government, building teams and leading the marketing and communications department in mission-
driven organizations. Lisa currently serves as the Public Information Officer and Marketing Manager with
the City of Saint Paul Public Works Department.
Lisa has strong local and national work experience with iconic inclusive-centered associations such as
Girl Scouts and BBB, as well as held volunteer leadership roles with nonprofit organizations that support
learning and community engagement for people of all ages and abilities, including Junior Achievement,
Saint Paul Jaycees, Red Cross, and the City of Apple Valley Parks & Recreation Advisory Committee.
Lisa joined the Saint Paul Jaycees in 1998 and served on the chapter board as Community Involvement
Director in 2001. She served as Chapter President in 2004, in which the chapter conducted more than
100 events, including the last year of the iconic Tunnel of Terror and the chapter’s 75th Anniversary Gala.
Lisa’s passion is working with mission and values-based organizations to emphasize relationship-building
and connecting all people, programs, and local government resources to improve the lives of
Minnesotans and strengthen our communities. When she is not working or volunteering, Lisa likes to
travel with her husband Chris (also a fellow Jaycee) and their son Ryan.

Deb Most

Trustee

Deb Most was an active Jaycee member from 2008 to 2012.  She served as the Community Involvement Director, Community Development Vice President, and Administrative Vice President.  She chaired several projects, but her favorite was the Children’s Holiday Party.

In 2010 She received the John H Armbruster Keyman Award. 

Currently, she works as a Membership Director of a professional association.

Rob Sakkinen

Trustee

Rob has been with the Saint Paul Jaycees for over 10 years and has a strong background in risk management and financial services. He had prior positions as VP of Administration, State Delegate, and Chair of Community Development. Rob has also held positions like President and VP of the Saint Paul Jaycees Foundation. One of his favorite Jaycees projects was the Mystery Bus Tour.
