JCI Saint Paul Chapter Closes in 2020

For 91 years, JCI Saint Paul (formerly called the Saint Paul Jaycees) has proudly provided leadership development opportunities for young professionals to create positive change in our communities. Over the years, the all volunteer-led JCI Saint Paul chapter has developed, managed, and run dozens of community projects and programs, including the annual Les Farrington Best 100 Juried Art Show for area high school students, the Tunnel of Terror, The Patty Berg Golf Tournament, and the Saint Paul School Police Parade and Picnic. The organization has had hundreds of passionate young volunteers share their time and talents with Saint Paul residents and businesses and partnered with local organizations such as Winter Carnival, Grand Old Day, Special Olympics, Heart of Dance, Meals on Wheels and more. We even have a landmark U.S. Supreme Court case win, and can count two U.S. Supreme Court Justices as former Saint Paul Jaycees presidents.

Due to declining membership numbers, the JCI Saint Paul chapter closed operations on August 31, 2020.

The Saint Paul Jaycees Charitable Foundation, which was the funder for many of JCI Saint Paul’s larger community events, continues to operate and is committed to supporting the City of Saint Paul’s residents, businesses and visitors now and into the future. This may include facilitating and/or funding some events that were coordinated and facilitated by JCI Saint Paul.

The Saint Paul Jaycees Charitable Foundation plans to invite all Saint Paul Jaycees alumni and family (and all other Jaycees and program and project partners) to a special celebration in Spring 2021. To make sure you don’t miss this fun opportunity, please send us your name and email address at info@jcistpaul.org.

If you have any questions about JCI Saint Paul or would like to contact the Saint Paul Jaycees Charitable Foundation, please email: info@jcistpaul.org.

Thank you for your continued support of the Saint Paul Jaycees!
