JCI St. Paul is proud to announce our sponsorship of this year’s Meals on Heels event. We are excited to support this evening of great food, beverages, and entertainment to ensure that 100% of event proceeds can directly benefit Metro Meals on Wheels. In addition to our monetary support, the Jaycees will be providing volunteer support. If you are looking for a fun way to serve the Twin Cities community, this is a great opportunity! We need 10-12 volunteers the evening of Thursday, August 16, to run Fling the Ring, the photobooth, and registration, as well as to provide restaurant support. What is Meals on Heels?

Meals on Heels is an evening of food and merriment which provides attendees an opportunity to learn more about and get involved with Meals on Wheels. The program includes food and drink tastings from local restaurants, raffles, a Swank Soles competition, and other entertainment. 100% of proceeds benefit Metro Meals on Wheels.

The event will take place at the beautiful Nicollet Island Pavilion on Thursday, August 16, 5:00-9:00 pm.

Okay, so…what is Metro Meals on Wheels?

Metro Meals on Wheels is the association of 32 Meals on Wheels programs in the Twin Cities metro area. Meals on Wheels is a community-based service that delivers fresh nutritious meals directly to the homes of seniors and individuals with disabilities. Each year, they deliver more than 1 million meals to people who are unable to leave their homes or make their own nutritious meals. This valuable program ensures that seniors and people with disabilities get the nourishment and human connection needed to support daily activities, while reducing the need for medical support.
